According to the product design, the Poolmate Hydro 4 SE can only communicate with the app when it is on land. Once submerged in water, the water blocks the Bluetooth signal, preventing the app from connecting to the device.

Ensure the control box is powered on and connected. If it still doesn’t start, check the power cable.
