We are so happy we made this purchase! Refurb looks like new, and so far acts like it. It mapped our home, we then did a whole house vacuum, and now mopping each room. We have 2 dogs that have full access inside and out. This picked up dog hair and dust and dirt with no issues. It blows air against walls and corners to loosen any flyaways and then sucks them right up. We both work long hours and this is a tremendous help to keep up without another 2 hours once I'm home. We have laminate floors and the multi-surface cleaner works very well. Floor not drenched, dries quickly, then it cleans the mop head and dries it! I'll need to wash it and eventually replace it, and filters, etc, but wow. Works with Alexa, you can see the water filling and emptying, robot tells you what she's doing when she's doing it (filling water, going back to base, etc). You can schedule it or run it manually. The mop actually 'scrubs' the floor, not just pushing it around and sliding all over. Not sure what else to say. The refurbished price point made this possible and we could not be happier.
While the low price was what enticed me to make the purchase, one is always a little unsure when ordering a refurbished item. However when the unit arrived it was well packaged and was nearly new (only a couple of superficial scratches that were not visible beyond two feet away). I have two other older Shark Robo vacs, but this model promised to be close to a "set and forget" appliance. It has not dissapointed. It vacuums. It mops and it cleans up after itself. Even recognizes when there's a heavily soiled spot and spends extra time cleaning that area. My only complaint is battery life. I have a fairly large living area footprint that is half carpet and half hardwood. It takes three charges to complete the whole floor. I have been able to somewhat remedy this by sheduling vacuuming and mopping on separate days. OveralI I am very pleased.
Honestly. Just don't. Set it up. Let it map the house. Let it detect the carpet. Finally get to using the mop function. And it flooded the floor around it. Not once. Or twice. But three times. WASTE OF TIME. DO NOT BUY.
The liquid is not pouring out during the mop cycle. Just dry mopping. They either didn’t test this item, or the employees don’t speak English and don’t know what “mop” means. Amazon just lost money on shipping this large heavy box to me and back. Will never buy anything from Amazon Renewed again.
Mine worked perfectly fine, honestly couldn’t be happier!! Its taken a lot of time off our hands. Will most likely buy an another one. You just have to get everything programmed initially and make sure everything is cleaned up before mapping the house. Absolutely give a 10 out of 10 review. It’s been able to clean my 3000 sq foot house no problem. Killer deal for sure!
Arrived Broken. While trying to figure out why the tank was filling up the bottom of the base with water instead of the vacuum, I felt a piece that seemed jagged. I looked up review pictures of a brand new one so I could compare and sure enough, there's a piece broken off of mine.
